U.S. and Iran prepare for possible war

The US continues to send nuclear submarines to the Persian Gulf and is deploying two carrier strike groups, dozens of F-22 and F-35 fighters, and more than 600 Tomahawk missiles in the region. In response to these actions, Iran's Supreme Leader stated that 'Iran operates under the assumption that US military strikes are inevitable and imminent,' and the country's armed forces have been placed on high alert. US intelligence reports detect active movement of Iranian troops toward the border with Iraq. Iran warns that, in case of a US attack, it will respond by targeting 'American military bases in the region'.

Israel has also expressed readiness to support the US if hostilities begin, and US Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee stated that Israel has a right to lands from the Nile to the Euphrates. Iranian official Araghchi warns of possible Israeli strikes on American facilities.
