US strikes 70 ISIS targets

U.S. military conducted strikes on more than 70 ISIS targets in Syria, including weapons depots. The operation, involving fighter jets and helicopters, was dubbed 'Hawkeye Strike' by the Pentagon. According to the defense secretary, the attacks were in response to an assault by militants on Americans in Palmyra on December 13, which resulted in the deaths of two U.S. service members and an American interpreter.
