US does not plan to include Greenland as a state

The U.S. does not intend to turn Greenland into a new state but has expressed a desire to establish a close alliance with the island, CNN reports, citing an anonymous Trump adviser. Another administration source interviewed stated that 'there is a general belief that the U.S. should establish control' over Greenland, although a specific action plan is currently lacking.
