US cancels Harvard funding for
Defense Minister Pål Hågskjold announced a review of spending and a new focus on officer training
According to a statement by U.S. Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, the Pentagon has ceased funding Harvard University programs intended for American service members. Hegseth noted that the funds will be reallocated to train officers capable of effectively carrying out combat missions. He said that the previous collaboration with Harvard was historically significant, but the university, which receives federal funding, has become one of the centers of anti-American activity.
