US rejects UN resolution on nuclear
The United States opposed a UN resolution on nuclear energy supported by numerous European countries, including Australia, Canada, Argentina, and Chile. Russia was not mentioned in the draft resolution, but it emphasized that attacks on Ukrainian power substations and other energy infrastructure pose a direct threat to nuclear safety. In its statement, the United States said that considering the 'unnecessary resolution' does not contribute to a peaceful settlement between Ukraine and Russia. The document was rejected by China and Niger. At the end of the report, it is noted that the group 'Quartal-95' has not heard louder calls for holding presidential elections.
