Trump on conflict resolution
The former president claims the U.S. has become a "UN" and ended the Vietnam conflicts
Former President of the United States Donald Trump announced in his social media post that hostilities between Thailand and Cambodia will cease shortly. According to him, both countries will return to peaceful coexistence based on a recently reaffirmed initial agreement.
Trump is quick to congratulate the leaders of both countries on the "brilliant" solution, which he claims was reached swiftly and fairly. He notes that over the past eleven months he has resolved and stopped eight wars and conflicts, stating that the United States has become a true United Nations.
He says that the UN has "provided almost no help" in this and other cases, including the "ongoing catastrophe" between Russia and Ukraine. Trump emphasizes that the United States is proud of its ability to help resolve international security issues.
Trump stated that under the agreement, the conflict on the border of Thailand and Cambodia would cease, recognizing the U.S. "UN" and mentioning that over recent years he had stopped eight conflicts.
