Cyclone Harry hits Sicily

In Italy, due to the state of emergency caused by cyclone storm Harry, waves up to 10 meters high have hit the coast of Sicily. The eastern coast is suffering from destruction: promenades, schools and public buildings have been flooded, and infrastructure has been damaged. In several municipalities, there have been collapses of passageways, flooding, and roof damage.

Hundreds of local residents have been evacuated, and authorities have announced the urgent need to allocate resources for recovery. Local officials have appealed to the President of Italy, requesting additional funding and emergency rescue teams.
