Turkey to buy 20 Eurofighter jets
Supplies will start in 2030 as planned
According to an agreement with the United Kingdom, Turkish Minister of National Defense Yashar Guler announced that deliveries of 20 new Eurofighter jets will begin in 2030. According to the schedule, 6 aircraft will be delivered in 2030, 8 in 2031, and another 6 in 2032. Based on current agreements, deliveries will take place within the framework of joint cooperation with the United Kingdom, which is one of the key participants in the Eurofighter project.
Context
Eurofighter is a joint project of British, German, Italian, and Spanish aerospace corporations aimed at developing a fifth-generation multirole fighter.
