French police raid Elon Musk's X office

Elon Musk has been summoned for questioning. According to government representatives, the inspection uncovered materials confirming suspicions of manipulating the platform's algorithms. Russian entrepreneur Pavel Durov has already expressed his support for Musk. Starting September 1, 2025, under a new law, all public officials in France will be required to use only the government messenger Tchap—with penalties established for using other services.
