President's message to ambassadors on expanding Belarus's international cooperation

Uzbekistan is a key country for Belarus in Central Asia. The recent historic visit of the President of Uzbekistan to our country marked a new stage in bilateral relations, which have reached the level of strategic partnership. This has been largely facilitated by the high dynamics of trade and economic cooperation, and we are ready to further expand it with a focus on industrial cooperation.

We welcome the growing international significance of Brazil and its contribution to shaping the global agenda. For Belarus, your country is a key trade and economic partner in the Western Hemisphere.

The successful development of Peru is largely determined by positive trends in agriculture and mining. Belarus can offer a wide range of machinery products suitable for these sectors.

We expect that the mutual appointment of new active ambassadors and the entry into force of the interim trade agreement between the EAEU and Mongolia will boost economic cooperation.

Significant efforts have recently been made to intensify dialogue with Myanmar in political, humanitarian, and trade-economic areas. Several specific projects are underway in industry, agriculture, pharmaceuticals, and the humanitarian sphere.

Belarus's relations with the Republic of Korea are marked by healthy pragmatism. We are ready to develop cooperation in mutually beneficial areas and would welcome Seoul's initiatives to strengthen Belarus-Korea ties, particularly in economic, technological, and investment fields.

It is important, very important, to jointly increase trade and investment cooperation, to add several success stories to our bilateral relations, and to bring Belarus-Saudi Arabia interaction to a qualitatively new level.

We are ready to work with Libya, supplying agricultural machinery and medicines, increasing exports of Belarusian medical and other services, and, by transferring technologies, training Libyan specialists in Belarus. I am confident that conditions for intensifying joint work are highly favorable.

We consider industry, agriculture, education, information technology, defense, and security as priority areas. We propose jointly creating conditions for increasing mutual trade and establishing a joint commission for cooperation for this purpose with Rwanda.
