15-year-old boy drowns in Pinsk district

According to investigators, on the evening of June 22, four young men went to the village of Krasovo and were swimming in the Pripyat River. At some point, a 15-year-old schoolboy went under water and, due to the strong current, was unable to surface.

His friends sought help from the owner of a nearby house, who attempted to find the teenager in the river himself. However, rescuers who arrived later pulled the young man from the water with no signs of life.

A detective team worked at the scene. An inspection was carried out, witnesses were interviewed, and a forensic medical examination has been appointed.

It was established that the area where the teenagers were swimming was not designated for swimming.
