38 kg of hashish were seized. A joint operation by the drug control department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and customs. Officers from 'Almaz' detained a 54-year-old resident of the Minsk region.

According to investigators, he was involved in drug trafficking from Lithuania: the shipment was transported in a hidden compartment of a semi-trailer.

Customs has initiated a case for illegal border crossing. The penalty is up to 10 years in prison.
