54-year-old Minsk woman loses over BYN 200,000, including inheritance, to scammers

A 54-year-old woman from Minsk became a victim of scammers who impersonated employees of Belposhta, the Ministry of Communications, the National Bank, and law enforcement agencies. The fraudsters convinced her to 'declare' her savings, after which she handed over more than $65,000 and over €7,000. A criminal case has been opened.
