89 injured in train collision near Bedford, UK
89 people were injured, 11 of them critically, in a train collision near Bedford, British transport police reported. The driver of one of the trains was killed. 'There were no signs of collision, no screeching wheels, no alarms. Suddenly there was an impact. I thought it was a bomb, saw a lot of smoke and people on the floor with bloodied faces. Many were crying and screaming,' passenger Peter Knapp told The Guardian.
