98% of surveyed Belarusians do not want to move abroad permanently

The Institute of Sociology of the National Academy of Sciences presented the results of a survey on socio-economic development in Minsk. More than two thousand respondents from all regions took part: men and women, married and unmarried, with different levels of education.

According to the data presented, most people are proud of the peaceful life. People assess their material well-being and the country's level of development as acceptable. Rural residents place family well-being slightly higher than residents of Minsk.

The Institute of Socio-Economic Research links this to social policies and five-year programs approved by the All-Belarusian People's Assembly.
