A1 fined BYN 109.7 million for transferring customers to more expensive tariff

Starting June 1, 2025, A1 closed the archival 'Bez Limita' and 'Bez Limita 2.0' tariffs and transferred their users to the 'Drive Unlimited' plan. The Ministry of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade (MART) ruled these actions violated antitrust legislation. A fine of BYN 2250 was also imposed on a company official. The decision of the Minsk Economic Court has not yet entered into force and may be appealed.
