Accident in Gomel Region: one person killed, seven injured

Today at around 10:00 in the Budakoshelievsky district on the 378 km of the M-8 highway "border of the Russian Federation-Vitebsk-Gomel-border of Ukraine", a collision occurred between a Renault and a Jetta vs7.

As a result of the accident, the 65-year-old passenger in the Renault died, the 41-year-old driver and a man (age being established), as well as two children (16 and 11 years old), were hospitalized. From the Jetta vs7, the 45-year-old driver and passengers — a 53-year-old man and a 12-year-old girl — were taken to the hospital.

🚔 Traffic police officers, a detective team, the Ministry of Emergency Situations personnel, and medical workers are on the scene. The causes and circumstances are being established.
