AI-Developed Drug Reduces Biological Age by 3–6 Years in Lung Fibrosis Patients
Insilico Medicine's AI-developed drug, Renotosertib, reduced biological age by 3–6 years in patients after 12 weeks of treatment, according to a study. The drug, created in 18 months using AI, also showed signs of reducing biological aging. The trial included 42 patients with lung diseases, but the short duration and underlying treatment effects mean it cannot yet be considered a universal anti-aging solution. A cardiologist told The New York Times that trials on healthy individuals are needed to confirm the effect.
