Alexander Lukashenko congratulates Keiko Sofia Fujimori Iguchi on her election as President of Peru

Alexander Lukashenko has congratulated Keiko Sofia Fujimori Iguchi on her election as President of Peru.

"I am confident that the trust granted to you by citizens will become a solid foundation for implementing a course towards the socio-economic development of the country and improving the well-being of the Peruvian people," Lukashenko stated.

The head of state emphasized Belarus's interest in intensifying bilateral dialogue and deepening trade and economic cooperation with Peru. He expressed hope that joint efforts would give additional momentum to bilateral cooperation and strengthen relations between the two countries.

Lukashenko wished Keiko Fujimori energy and success in her responsible position, and the people of Peru — peace and prosperity.
