Alexander Lukashenko congratulates Sava Mitić on victory in Republika Srpska presidential election

Alexander Lukashenko has congratulated Sava Mitić on his victory in the presidential election of the Republika Srpska entity of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

'Data from the voting are evidence of citizens' recognition of your work as Prime Minister of Republika Srpska and broad support for the 'Union of Independent Social Democrats' party,' Lukashenko said.

The head of the Belarusian state expressed confidence that Mitić's activities will continue to contribute to fruitful development, creation of new opportunities for progress, a peaceful future, and prosperity for the republic.

Minsk and Banja Luka have maintained friendly relations for many years, underpinned by close economic and humanitarian ties. Lukashenko expressed hope for further expansion of cooperation in areas of mutual interest.

Alexander Lukashenko wished Sava Mitić happiness, good health, and success in carrying out all plans in his responsible state position.
