Alexander Lukashenko holds phone call with Shavkat Mirziyoyev
The heads of state discussed the implementation of agreements reached during the recent official visit of the President of Uzbekistan to Belarus.
Both sides issued necessary instructions to give practical effect to the strategic partnership format and to advance mutually beneficial projects. Work in this direction is being carried out actively, including investment cooperation in agriculture and other areas.
Alexander Lukashenko and Shavkat Mirziyoyev confirmed the need for full implementation of the approved Roadmap for Cooperation for 2026–2030, which should help achieve a bilateral trade volume of $2 billion. The heads of state emphasized the importance of further strengthening interregional cooperation.
The President of Belarus also warmly congratulated the President of Uzbekistan on his birthday.
