All rivers and lakes in England polluted with toxic chemicals, Guardian reports

All rivers and lakes in England are polluted with toxic chemical substances, and water quality in water bodies does not meet requirements, reports the newspaper Guardian.

"If concentrations of chemical substances exceed established standards, a water body does not meet the requirements for good chemical status. According to the latest assessment, no water body in England has passed this test," the publication states.
