The suspect has been identified and detained within 24 hours.

On August 21 at around 17:57, the Pervomaisky District Department of Internal Affairs received a report of an armed robbery at a jewelry store. An unknown individual, threatening with an object resembling a pistol, stole jewelry items and fled. A detective and operational group immediately arrived at the scene.

"All services — investigators, police, and experts — worked smoothly and professionally. Initial investigative and search activities were carried out without delay. Thanks to competent on-site work, all important evidence and the suspect’s escape routes were identified," said Miroslava Khlyshchenko-Khazanovskaya, head of the Pervomaisky District Department of the Investigative Committee.

A criminal case has been opened under Part 2 of Article 207 of the Criminal Code (robbery with intent to seize property on a large scale).
