Autumn military draft begins in Belarus: about 1,000 conscripts sent to troops on first day

The autumn conscription into the army has started in Belarus. Today marks the beginning of the planned dispatch of conscripts to military units and formations. Around 1,000 recruits will be sent to troops on the first day. They will join the special operations forces, the training center in Pechny, the Minsk Commandant's Office, and other units. A total of about 10,000 people are expected to be drafted this autumn, and another approximately 600 Belarusians will serve in the reserve. The conscripts will take the solemn oath on November 21.
