Belarus bans sale of two meat semi-finished products over salmonella
Belarus has banned the sale of two meat semi-finished products — 'Smak' beefsteak and 'Teftelkin' meatballs produced by UP 'Arkhol' — after salmonella and other dangerous microorganisms were detected in them. Both products were found to contain E. coli bacteria, pathogenic microorganisms, and salmonella. The State Standard has prohibited the import and circulation of these products in Belarus, effective from September 9.
