Belarus changes lyceum admission rules starting September 1

Starting September 1, new admission rules for lyceums in Belarus will take effect. Key changes involve application deadlines and exam procedures.

Application periods:

▪️Grade 10 (general stream): June 12–15.

▪️For BSU Lyceum applicants who did not pass the competition: July 5–8 (for admission to other lyceums).

▪️Additional enrollment into Grade 10: July 10–15.

▪️For vacant spots in Grade 11: June 12 – August 17.

Graduates of the BSU Lyceum who did not pass the competition can enroll in other lyceums or universities without retaking entrance exams, provided the profile subjects match.

An obligatory entrance exam in "History of Belarus" will be introduced for profiles with in-depth study of "History of Belarus in the context of world history."

Enrollment orders for the BSU Lyceum must be issued by no later than July 7, and for other institutions — by no later than July 10.
