Belarus Customs Seizes Nearly 2 kg of Hashish Smuggled from Poland
Belarus's Operational Customs has seized nearly 2 kg of hashish that was being smuggled from Poland. The drugs were hidden in a car's gearbox box. The detained individuals claimed they did not know the contents and were merely "passing on a package" at the request of an unknown person. However, the investigation established that the recipients of the drugs were two minors. Criminal charges have been filed against one of the couriers under Part 2 of Article 328-1 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus (up to 10 years of imprisonment). The operational customs continues working to identify the entire transnational criminal group.
