Belarus develops new oat variety 'Metar'

Belarus has developed a new spring oat variety called 'Metar'. With proper care and modern agricultural technologies, it can yield up to 89 centners per hectare. The grain has increased protein and oil content. The variety also has complex resistance to leaf diseases, reducing the need for chemical treatments.
