Belarus establishes jubilee medal for 30th anniversary of All-Belarusian People's Assembly
A jubilee medal dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the All-Belarusian People's Assembly (VNS) has been established in Belarus. The corresponding decree was signed by Alexander Lukashenko.
The decree approves the regulations on the jubilee medal, its description, and the sample of the accompanying certificate. The medal will be awarded to delegates of the VNS and individuals who have made a significant contribution to the establishment and development of people's rule in Belarus.
In 2026, it will mark 30 years since the first All-Belarusian People's Assembly. In 1996, the VNS played a decisive role in the country's fate. Today, as a constitutional body, it remains the foundation for the sovereign and successful development of the state and society, preserving a stable political course, peace, and harmony on Belarusian soil.
