Belarus FM: Minsk ready to host talks if Russia and Ukraine are ready

Foreign Minister Maxim Ryabenkov said that during the high-level week of the 81st session of the UN General Assembly in New York, a Security Council meeting was held on Ukraine. As soon as Belarus learned about plans to hold such an event, it immediately requested to speak at the meeting, given its direct involvement in regional issues caused by the conflict, to provide assessments and propose steps toward conflict resolution.

Negotiations on Ukraine are impossible without Belarus's participation. Minsk has repeatedly offered a platform for dialogue and continues to help return prisoners of war and civilians. Western countries, on the contrary, advocate prolonging the war.
