Belarus Health Ministry to decide on work experience term for doctors moving to private clinics before New Year

The Ministry of Health of Belarus will determine the required work experience term for doctors transitioning to private clinics before the New Year. Currently, three years of experience are required to work in private medicine. The proposed change would increase the requirement to seven years of work in state institutions and having the first qualification category, including for nurses. Currently, over 600 doctors work in private medicine, and 290 of them have less than seven years of experience. The draft will be discussed with the professional community.
