Belarus Health Ministry warns of new surge in tiny tick activity

By the end of summer, there will be more nymphs — young ixodid ticks measuring only 0.5–1 mm in size — in natural areas. Due to their tiny size, they are almost impossible to notice. Despite their small size, nymphs, like adult ticks, can carry dangerous infections.
