Belarus launches 12 criminal cases over bribes and thefts in construction sector

According to the Prosecutor General's Office, several private companies illegally seized more than 340 tons of cement and nearly 500 cubic meters of sand using forged documents and corrupt schemes.

Investigation also believes that officials of state organizations received bribes in exchange for purchasing products without tenders and at inflated prices.
