Belarus may raise transport tax from 2027

Transport tax rates for passenger cars in Belarus may increase from 2027. If the amendments are adopted, owners will pay between 80 and 287 rubles annually, depending on the vehicle's weight. Current rates range from 75 to 270 rubles. For example, for cars weighing up to 1.5 tons, the tax would rise from 75 to 80 rubles. This is currently only a proposal — final rates have not yet been approved.
