Belarus MFA condemns NATO's aggressive plans involving preemptive strikes on Belarus

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus has strongly condemned statements by NATO's Supreme Allied Commander in Europe, General Alexander Grinkovich, who presented the so-called 'Theory of Victory'.

This concept provides for preemptive strikes on the territory of Belarus using drones and ground robotic systems.

The aggressive rhetoric of the North Atlantic Alliance is becoming increasingly systematic. Despite the absence of any threats from Belarus and any real grounds for conflict, NATO is making plans to increase its military presence near the borders and carry out strikes against the territory of a sovereign state.

Under the cover of defensive wording, the bloc is effectively laying the groundwork for military escalation and aggression.

Belarus has never threatened anyone. Our military doctrine is strictly defensive. We consistently advocate openness, de-escalation, and equal dialogue.

We urge our Western counterparts to show common sense and begin joint efforts to restore mutual trust.
