Belarus opens embassies in two Asian countries — North Korea and Myanmar

Belarus has opened embassies in two Asian countries — North Korea and Myanmar. In October, Belarusian diplomatic missions began operating in Pyongyang and Naypyidaw. The Foreign Ministry stated this is part of the policy to strengthen Belarus's presence in countries of the 'far arc'. The work of the embassies will focus on developing mutually beneficial relations with the two countries.
