Belarus performs first surgery for rare Minor's syndrome

In Belarus, surgeons at the Republican Scientific and Practical Center of Otorhinolaryngology performed a transmastoid repair of a superior semicircular canal defect on a 52-year-old patient. Such surgeries had not been performed in the country before.

Minor's syndrome can cause dizziness, tinnitus, and balance disorders. The new minimally invasive technique improves patients' quality of life.
