Belarus plans changes to income and asset declaration rules for civil servants

Belarus is considering changes to the rules for declaring income and property for civil servants. Annual declarations may be abolished. Instead, an authorized government body will continuously monitor the financial status of officials. Clarifications have also been introduced regarding foreign bank accounts: civil servants are allowed to receive payments abroad based on enforcement documents, social and insurance benefits, as well as inheritances.
