Belarus plans to make hotel star classification mandatory

🏨 In Belarus, they want to make the star classification of hotels mandatory.

A draft decree is already in the government. Certification will be introduced in stages: large hotels with more than 70 rooms must complete it by January 1, 2028, and others by January 1, 2029.

Currently, there are about 600 hotels in the country, but only 90 have official categories.
