Belarus plans to produce at least 700,000 tons of sugar from the 2026 harvest. More than 1.8 million tons of sugar beet have already been processed, yielding over 280,000 tons of sugar. According to forecasts, the beet harvest will exceed 5.5 million tons. Sugar production is expected to be sufficient for both the domestic market and export.
