Belarus plans to resume domestic flights with new Osvey aircraft

Belarus plans to resume domestic flights thanks to the creation of a new Belarusian-Russian light aircraft, the 'Osvey'. The 19-seat plane is expected to cover up to 1,300 km at a speed of 400 km/h. In the future, a flight from Brest to Vitebsk will take just 1.5 hours. A prototype of the aircraft is expected to be released in 2027, with mass production starting in 2029.
