Belarus President explains sending negligent farmers to the army

The President of Belarus explained the decision to send negligent agricultural workers to the army. "This is not to scare anyone or replenish the army ranks. If you don't want to work in this job, we'll test you in another — normal male and female work in the army. There are mosquitoes, midges, and so on. Let them serve there. This is not some mockery of people; we are simply giving an opportunity to prove themselves in another job — a tough, male job," he said.
