Belarus President Makes Personnel Decisions in Armed Forces Leadership
The President of Belarus has made personnel decisions regarding the leadership of the Armed Forces.
Corresponding decrees were signed by the Head of State on July 21.
• Major General Alexander Mosolov has been appointed Deputy Minister of Defense for Logistics — Chief of Logistics of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus. Previously, he served as First Deputy Chief of Logistics of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus — Chief of Logistics Staff.
• In turn, Major General Andrei Burdyko has been relieved of his duties as Deputy Minister of Defense for Logistics — Chief of Logistics of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus. He has been discharged from military service into the reserve.
• Major General Dmitry Bitny has been appointed Chief of the Main Combat Training Directorate of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus. He has been relieved of his position as Deputy Commander of the Western Operational Command of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus.
• Major General Alexander Bas has been relieved of his duties as Commander of the Northwestern Operational Command of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus. He has been discharged from military service into the reserve due to age, with the right to wear military uniform and rank insignia.
