Belarus proposes ban on online gambling advertising

A draft law on banning online advertising of gambling establishments has been prepared by the Ministry of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade (MART).

The draft law provides for a ban on internet advertising of lotteries, games, including promotional, gambling, and electronic interactive games, gambling establishments, including virtual ones, with certain exceptions, as well as their advertising in vehicles. It also prohibits the use of images of people and animals in advertising gambling establishments and gambling games. In addition, advertising must not contain information about bonuses that can be used for making bets in gambling establishments and other related content.
