Belarus reduces list of price-regulated goods from 199 to 76 items

The list of goods subject to state price regulation in Belarus has been reduced from 199 to 76 items. Among the products excluded are citrus and exotic fruits, chewing gum, as well as milk, kefir, and sour cream in glass containers. Authorities noted that price controls could be reinstated if price increases are unjustified. Markups on certain goods have also been adjusted, and a 10% markup limit has been introduced for some in-house produced items.
