Belarus updates approaches to honoring competition winners on Republican Board of Honor
The Head of State has signed a decree on the conceptual update of approaches to honoring competition winners on the Republican Board of Honor.
Key changes concern the organization of a competitive selection process to improve procedures and the legal framework, as well as to involve a broader range of applicants.
To raise the competition level, the Government will establish a uniform selection procedure. There will be broad public information about the start and conduct of the selection. State bodies will be allowed to nominate organizations for inclusion. The ban on participation by organizations that won the competition two years in a row has been lifted. The range of organizations has been expanded by introducing 14 additional nominations in production and service sectors.
Additionally, the decree introduces a new format for honoring winners, including the awarding of an honorary badge. To promote the competition, active media coverage of winners' experiences is now institutionalized.
