Belarusbank officially announces much-discussed 1% mortgage loan

Belarusbank has officially announced the much-discussed mortgage loan at 1% annual interest. Starting August 10, the 'Ipoteka s nami' mortgage can be arranged for 24 months at 1% per annum. After two years, the rate will increase to 15.4% — refinancing rate plus 6.15 percentage points.

The preferential rate applies even at the construction stage, provided the developer has a contract with the bank. The list of eligible developers will be formed and regularly updated.
