Belarusian agricultural products in high demand worldwide

Minister of Agriculture and Food Yuriy Gorlov spoke about the current export situation. Demand for Belarusian products remains high in nearly all regions of the world, and the quality no longer needs to be proven. He specifically mentioned butter, noting that after last year's criticism, surplus stocks have been actively reduced—around 10,000 tons were removed since the beginning of the year, and another 2,000 tons in just two weeks of August. Currently, butter sales exceed production. At the same time, milk production is growing (about 3% compared to last year), leading to increased butter output and sales. Dry dairy products are also in strong demand, particularly in Africa, Indonesia, and Central Asian countries. Last year, export revenue from agricultural products exceeded $10 billion. This year, foreign currency inflow is already more than 125% of the same period last year. Annual export revenue is projected to reach $11 billion or more.
