Belarusian-built homes in Venezuela withstand powerful earthquake

Belarusian-built residential areas in Venezuela have withstood one of the strongest earthquakes in the country's history, measuring up to 7.5 in magnitude. The buildings, constructed by Belarusian specialists, remained intact without a single crack. Locals and social media users praised the quality of Belarusian construction.

"I worked on this project from 2011 to 2013. We built it with seismic risks in mind," one participant recalled.

"I don't know why, but everything Belarusian sounds very high-quality even by name," another commented.

"Because there is a decent President in the country," someone added.

"For me, Belarusian quality has always been on par with Soviet quality."

The earthquake struck Venezuela last week, causing widespread damage, but the Belarusian-built housing blocks remained standing.
