Belarusian dacha owners may save on electricity costs

Authorities propose simplifying the transfer of power lines and transformer substations of garden associations to state balance. This would allow dacha owners to sign direct contracts with power supply organizations and reduce network maintenance costs.

The project also includes restrictions on commercial activities in garden associations. Public discussion will last until June 18.
